I know I haven’t posted in like forever and a day, I been busy enjoying the Second Life. I started a job at a club called Seduction. I work there as part of  a management team, I love the friends I work with, our guest are totally fantastic and its a good place for me to spend the day.

Besides my job at Seduction I also build a little now and again, I am fairly good at it. I just recently put out some product. Ok ok, as of this writing it’s only two items. But I am now a published creator of product. *Smiles happily* I am just using SLX to list my products as I cant afford a store in world yet.

I have two more items ready to go and as I work on a long term project I will come up with more items. My long term goal is to put together holodeck systems for use as multi-room skyboxes. They are one room structures where the room that is currently rezzed is selected from an easy to use menu system.

Over the next few months I will be creating a number of holodeck scenes that include every room in a home and more. The final product should have TV, radio, lots of animated sits and MLP (Multiple Love Position or sexbed menu). There will be a base unit and then I will create fit various themes and role plays.

I will make holodeck versions that are a total of 110 prims or less to allow up to 4 or 5 pose balls from sex and cuddle menus on a 512 meter parcel. I will then work on holodeck systems that take advantage of the 234 prim limits on a 1024 meter parcel.

It’s a fair warning and so be warned. Take care of you first and don’t risk so much so fast. Always have your guard up but don’t be so obvious about it. There are people who really get involved in serious relationships really kind of like soul and mind stuff.

Here is the problem, there are predators and also people who aren’t so healthy. A friend of mind told me a story about some guy that came into a club run by this other really cool guy. Well the New Guy was really charming, fun and liked by women and men alike but in a heterosexual kind of way. He forged various relationships, bonded with a group of happy people and after a couple of months he introduced his brother (hindsight reveals brother is played by new guy). A couple of weeks go by and the brother announces that new guy had died that morning.

God that would of sucked huh!!!

So there you have it, be warned. Don’t be a fool and let yourself be damaged more than you can take and still recover. Be obvious if you are casual, serious or whatever. If you just are kinky and rather not share the time of day after you do you thing, have a ton of fun with it! I do.

Remember also that if you want meaningful relationships there are risk. There are really cool people that will meld with you in games like Second Life. Really cool, really fun really real. Unhealthy people suck as much as mean people do, well some of them do. If you don’t have a good sense of self-worth then maybe a hack and slash game might be better fun or at least be obvious so you don’t hurt people.

My name is Sage Sideshow and I work in the adult entertainment field within Second Life. Yes I am an escort, dancer, prostitute and sometimes even a whore. Of course this is a lot of role play but I love what I do and take it seriously. This post is to introduce you to what purpose we serve the SL community and how to best make use of a Second Life escort or dancer.

One of the first things to remember is that Second Life is a role playing environment. The medium is a pixel world with avatars, animated activities and text. There are some who incorporate voice and even some who pick up ‘dates’ in Second Life and switch over to some form of web cam like SKYPE. I will leave out the voice and cam variety from this blog post.

One of the questions that seems obvious is, “why hire an escort.” There is no easy answer to this, the reasons can vary widely. Some of the reasons that are more common include, its a fun role play, you might have more money than time, you are shy about meeting new people, your fantasy may be extreme, you might be frustrated with the lack of attention you can get otherwise and many other reasons.

As a role play, hiring an escort is a fantasy all its own. There is a thrill involved in the searching, asking about rates, asking about services and the this is just part of the fun. The thrill can continue as you share some fantasy with an escort, telling her what kind of kinky sex you are really wanting to have. The idea I am trying to get across is that you can really enjoy the whole process not just the sex you pay for, it is all a role play.

How much does an escort cost in Second Life? I am glad you asked, you can get one for next to nothing but these are often of poor quality. 50 Linden dollars is about 25 cents USD and usually will get you some crappy animated sex with little to no quality cyber. Most escorts that know what they are doing will charge from about 1500 Linden Dollars for an hour on up to over 3000. So in US dollars a Second Life escort will cost you a little more than 5 dollars.

What you pay for when you hire an escort is the time they spend with you, the time they spend trying to attract a client and the expenses of advertising, clothing, avatar enhancements and in many cases the Second Life home they pay for. Its not cheap to be really hot and have a nice place to take clients to. Lots of times I hear “I have never had to pay for sex.” My response to this is, “You aren’t likely to get under my skirt.” I play with people I really like a lot and I also do business as a dancer and escort, in either case I take great pride in what I do. I may not be the best lay in Second Life but I sure try to be.

For the record, as of this writing I charge a flat 2000 Linden dollars for a “date”. This gets you my full attention for between 60 to 90 minutes. I don’t watch the clock and say “your time is up sweetie, time for you to go.” and I don’t ask you to pay for more time after 90 minutes. Believe me, if we are spending more than 90 minutes together I am having fun with you and don’t resent the extra time at all.

I put off posting this for a couple days, not because I am lazy but because I got distracted by… uhm… well some cute and intelligent fun in Second Life. So the topic here is what makes good virtual sex. By virtual sex I mean sex that happens in our minds and is expressed in text.

Well I pretty much covered the topic in in one phrase, ‘sex that happens in our minds…’ I am sure most of us are familiar with the saying, “the mind is the most powerful sexual organ” and it is one I agree with completely. No matter if the sex is in person or online, the mind must be fully engaged or it lacks that special quality that makes it “good sex”.

So good virtual sex needs to engage the mind even more than the in person sex. There lacks the physical stimulation that is shared in person. This is a good thing though, virtual sex can have a much deeper kind of pleasure than the in person variety and as for the physical stimulation, there are toys, hands and fingers.

What is important to many of us, fans of the virtual intimacies, is that all persons are ACTIVE participants. All persons involved need to read and give back text describing their actions and sensations felt. Its easier to actually give an example to this than to describe it. *grins wickedly*

As you can see, our cyber indicates action and reactions. Good cyber sex is really just that easy. You use your mind to become the avatar. This is something I first started doing years ago when there were just forums, then in chat rooms and now in Second Life. Cyber is a passion of mine, I often find it more rewarding than in person sex.

Second Life offers the added attraction of having a semi real looking avatar. It is easy to create a look with your avatar that portrays some type of personality. Using animations, clothing, hair and text you can portray a shy or bold personality. You can be sexy in obvious way or you can be very subtle. The visual stimulation that Second Life offers brings a new dynamic to the fun of cyber sex.

Second Life offers more than fun looking avatars, it has animations that show avatars performing certain acts. These animations can enhance cyber sex but they can also restrict it. To me, good cyber sex does not rely on the animations. I love to just sit with some one in a cuddle pose and see our avatars while we use our text to fully describe what the animations could never do justice to.

The sexual animations used in Second Life can be used to great advantage. It is no big trick to describe some affectionate petting and kissing. From a cuddle pose you can switch to some kind of oral activity or whatever. Whatever animations you switch to needs to be described or at least hinted at. Sage: “… breaks off the passionate kiss and plants a trail of kisses down Bob’s chin, neck and slightly hair chest… she wiggles and squirms off the bed. Her knees find the carpeted floor and her lips trail down Bob’s belly, into his pubic patch…” Seems pretty obvious I am going to suck Bob’s cock huh? This would be a good time to switch to that blow job animation.

In the examples given there is a subtle clue to another aspect of cyber sex that defines “good sex”, fluidity. Your emotes (descriptions of action” should describe how the intimate encounter flows. There needs to be transitions from one type of action, like kissing and gazing into each other’s eyes to the next thing like sucking that thick shaft. Jumping form a kiss to gagging on cock is unnatural in most cases, there is usually a building of tension involved like the kissing and licking of his nipples, the tickling of your nose as his chest hairs brush against it.

Another thing to think about in cyber sex, don’t get caught up in perfect grammar and flawless spelling. Most of us can read typos fairly well, especially in context. We should even be able to read words that aren’t in our native language. An example is a woman who went down on me typed “licks your vegin.” I knew she meant vagina even while she was using a word that wasn’t English. Correcting yourself in cyber can be a little bit of a mood kill, too many *Cock after you mistyped it as Dock is really not needed.

Good cyber should be treated like a turn-based game. One person emotes an action and the next person takes their turn. I have been with people that take far too many turns before letting me have mine. In part one of this series I promised to talk about a few things and I am torn as which to cover in this post. We all want good sex and defining what that is for many of us is important, we all want sex and how to find it is also important. So lets just get on with how to find it so we all can get a little practice, then talking about good sex and bad sex will have more meaning.

If you are a woman, or at least playing a female avatar then finding sex wont be that difficult. Men, women, transexuals, animals and all manner of mythological creatures are likely to hit on you. Men have a much harder time finding sex in Second Life and much of this blog post is addressed to males but should apply much the same to all species/genders.

To find sex, simply search using the Second Life search tool and visit places. God if it were that easy, we would have no time to read blogs. Just visiting a location like Bob’s Free Noob Sex Joint is not going to get you laid, most of the time. There are things that you need to consider and do in order to be able to scratch that itch.

One of the first things to think on is your appearance. Sure some people get off on sex with ugly, gross, disgusting people. Most of us prefer to be intimate with some one attractive, or at least someone that cares enough to try and be attractive. Men, women, others, listen up here. You should come up with a look that is beyond that of your default avatar (avatar you appear as the first time you log in).

There are 3 major areas that affect how you look. Your shape defines physical proportions, this is something you can change yourself. Be fat, thin, tall, short or whatever but try to be the you that you want to be. Your skin is something worn over the shape and greatly affects how you look, there are free skins as well as skins you can purchase. Hair, far to many bald men in Second Life for bald to be an attractive look. Men, get some hair on your heads please, if you are bald it should be the personality you want to portray and not just that you are too lazy to find hair or just don’t care. Once these are taken care of, get an AO, a device that affects how you stand and walk, so you can look good and also look cool *winks*.

Now that you know we rather not have sex with complete newbie avatars, you should consider personality and approach. When I started Second Life nearly 3 years ago I had no idea, I was a woman in SL without a single friend and I wondered about all the sex I heard about. I went to a few places and guys quickly IMed me and said “you are cute, wanna make sex with me?” and I was shocked. Most of these guys were unappealing and after the first one I just avoided sex for a while.

I explored different locations and found out there was a better way than pestering people for a good fuck, or even just a fuck. I started to have conversations with people, we would talk about anything of interest and often we found common ground and had sex with some of these people. Just like in the real world, if you only focus is the sex then you get less of it. How you look for sex will make a big difference.

Location, location location. If you are looking for sex then look for it in an appropriate area. I really hate getting hit on while shopping, if I go to a club I kind of expect it. Location means also, looking for a specific type of sex in a place that caters to it. For instance, why would you look for straight sex at a gay club?

Ok this post is very non-specific, very general and some would think obvious. Try shopping for a cute outfit and then wonder why its less than obvious to so many. Remember also, we are all looking for sex all of the time. Some of us want love, friendship or just to have fun. The next post in this series will focus on good sex and what it is. Other post will delve deeper into specific topics.

Well I would like to think that I could of gotten more than one post before talking about sex. Truth is that sex is a very large part of Second Life and a large part of my experience there. Mind you, sex is not all there is to that crazy, mixed up world, see my first post for just a few ideas of what else Second Life has to offer.

There is every type of sex imaginable in Second Life (sexual age play is bannable) and many reasons people enjoy it. The types of sex people engage in is limited by nothing other than our imaginations, meaning there is no limits. There is good sex and bad sex, that is sex that is fun or rewarding and sex that is dull and boring.

One thing that is important to remember is to not judge others for what they do. Doing so will only hurt you and others. It is easy enough to avoid things that you might find shocking or unappealing. Being judgemental harms you by closing your mind and sealing it shut. Pleas, if you find something offensive, just quietly agree to disagree as to what is ok and not ok.

Here is a short list of sexual activities you might find in Second Life; BDSM, gay, heterosexual, lesbian, D/s, shemale, forced feminization, extreme sized genital and… well there is just so much more than even I could list. No matter how kinky, dirty, gross, shocking or extreme the fetish it IS in Second Life.

Sexual Age play IS and should be an activity that those who it can be banned for. I don’t judge it as good or bad but somethings can cause part of our community to just disappear. The reasons it is no longer part of this world is that some countries have stricter laws concerning such things even if it is role-play. Best advice, just don’t do that.

The subject of sex in Second Life is a rather broad topic, I will break this down into a series of introductory post covering things like how to find sex, how to find good sex, info about cybering and whatever other sub-topics come to mind. Feel free to leave comments and ask me to write on something specific. I will only cover topics I feel I can do justice to.

Welcome to my first ever blog post! The topic is how to have fun in Second Life. The purpose of this post is to remind myself and others that Second Life can be fun, in fact, it can be an absolute blast.

There really is a lot to do in this crazy pixel world and sex is only one of them. I kind of forget about fun sometimes, getting caught up in all that self-exploration and what not. So this post is as much for me as it is for you.

One of the first fun things anyone should do, even before purchasing Linden Dollars is to go check out free stuffs. There is a lot of it and most of it is not great quality, the fun can be in picking and choosing what is acceptable quality. While you are at it, try on some free shapes and skins to kind of get your avatar more real looking.

Once you have had your fill of the freebie hunts you should get used to the search tool. There is a big old button at the bottom center of your screen that says “Search”. Go ahead and click that, come on, it wont hurt. You will a bunch of tabs there but let me just point out two of them. The places tab will let you find any publicly listed place like clubs, shops, hangouts, etc. You have a little drop down box to narrow down the type of place you want to find. Ok now for the real fun.

Click on that events tab. From here you can search for events in SL. Events are what places do to attract people and try get us all having fun as a group. You can narrow down your search type with the handy drop down box as well as what terms you search for. You can also just leave it as is and click search to list all events and types. I highly recommend that newer avatars make use of this and experience some of the social gatherings, make a few friends and learn about social graces in Second Life.

A lot of Second Life is a bit spammy, people advertising heavily to get people to their shops or what not. Don’t let that stop you from figuring out how to use search terms and the drop down selectors to filter out the spam. In fact some of that spam can help you find things you will be glad to have found.

The two best types of events in my opinion are live music and dances with a DJ. At these types of events people are encouraged to chat, joke, laugh and have fun. Usually live music is an hour long event and dances are two hours long, this is not a hard rule though.

Shopping? Yes, shopping can be fun especially if you take a friend. It can also be frustrating as waiting for a place to rez (waiting for things to be visible) can really be boring but with a friend you at least can make a few jokes and laugh while you wait.

Clubs are a potential fun thing to do. Often they will be empty unless there is an event. This is not always so, some clubs are rather popular and always have people there. You will find clubs in the places tab or can also use the all tab. I find that I like the results from the places tab better but you should try both and see which you like most.

There are also role play areas in SL. Just like clubs, some can be dull and empty while others will be populated with fun people. Want to be a dragon? knight? elf? kitty cat (I am a cuddly kitty)? vampire? Whatever your thing might be I would bet it exist in Second Life. So go on, have a look at things that interest you.

Sex!!!! Yes, much of Second Life centers around sexual expression and exploration. There are free sex areas but these are often cluttered with unimaginative people who haven’t yet woke up to the fun they could really have. There are role play areas that center on sexual themes like gay, shemales, BDSM as well as things best left for you to discover on your own. Do not just pass up on the idea of an SL escort, many of us are experienced in fantasy fullfilment and are worth our price.

Ok well that is enough for one blog post. Maybe I should of broken it down into smaller bits but I was just so excited to get my first post that I lost track of stuff. *giggles* Now go have some fun.
